The PixelStomp Mux is an chainable 8-Channel module to connect up to 8 PixelStomps (sold separately), the function of the footswitches is handled by a 74HC165 shift register with 10k pullups built-in, data for the WS2812C leds is chained via the JST SH connectors.
The PixelStomp Mux was designed to make wiring the PixelStomps much easier and faster.
The PixelStomp uses the WS2812C leds which require a 5V voltage for power BUT you can use 3.3v logic for the data line. You can chain multiple PixelStomp Muxes, altho, as you add more you may want to wired the 5V line directly into each board instead of chaining.
You will need to wire PixelStomp Mux to your MCU via 7 wires, 3 Digital Pins (any digital pin on your board) for the 74HC165, 1 Digital pin for the WS2812C leds, 5V power for the WS2812C, VCC (3.3v or 5v depending on your MCU logic level) for the 74HC165 and GND.
